hello my name is James kolagowski Iamp;#39;m a co-founder of at composites we were founded in 2018 as a university spin-off and our main area of focus is developing automated fiber placement systems and the associated path planning software to kind of plan the paths number of layers orientation we have a few different samples here today so we have tank shape so we started experimenting with AFP as a filament winding system and so what this does is you also get the benefits of AFP while performing filament windings such as compaction precise angle control stopping and restarting any sort of passes Iamp;#39;ve been really able to make a nice nice part with that as well so you you can do some winding hoop winding as in this piece and thereamp;#39;s a reinforcement patch here if you can see this was all done on the same machine as with all these other parts as well so not only can you do winding systems but the traditional style AFP shapes such as 3D open Contours we have an ISO
