There are several built-in options to choose from but you could always go with the plain text box and add formatting yourself. To do this, click Draw Text Box then click and drag roughly where you want your text box to go. Now you can type whatever you want. Because of this box model, LAT can typeset any text into a box of any width. The simplest command for small amounts of text is \parbox. This command needs two arguments in curly braces: the first is the width you want the text set to, and the second is the text itself, as in the example shown.
Conversely, when the text-box moves, so does the anchor. To prevent this, right-click on the text-box and select Format AutoShape/Picture, go to the Layout tab, click Advanced, and in the Position tab check Lock anchor. Click OK twice to terminate.
