Select Insert Table Insert Table. Select the number of columns and rows, AutoFit behavior, and then select OK. Tip: Check Remember dimensions for new tables if you want all new tables to look like this.
Hover your mouse over the table until the four-way handle appears. Click on the Resize a Table option from this handle. Select Align a Table from the new menu. Choose right, center or left alignment from this menu.
Click the Table tab to apply settings to your entire table: Under Size, set the tables overall width by selecting Preferred width and choosing a size. Under Alignment, choose whether you want to align your table to the left, center, or right of page.
For a basic table, click Insert Table and move the cursor over the grid until you highlight the number of columns and rows you want. For a larger table, or to customize a table, select Insert Table Insert Table.
Tables can be used to organize any type of content, whether youre working with text or numerical data. In Word, you can quickly insert a blank table or convert existing text to a table. You can also customize your table using different styles and layouts.
Select the slide that you want to add a table to. On the Insert tab, select Table. In the drop-down grid, use the mouse to select the number of rows and columns that you want. An empty table is added to the slide.
Adjust Table Columns in Word (Auto Fit) Click anywhere in the table. In Table Tools click the [Layout] tab locate the Cell Size group and choose from of the following options: To fit the columns to the text (or page margins if cells are empty), click [AutoFit] select AutoFit Contents.
