How does text suggestions work? Text prediction is one of the applications of predictive algorithms. It is based on Natural Language Processing (NLP), which allows software to understand the text the user writes on a mobile keyboard and its context, and to predict the following letters or words.
But you can turn off Microsoft Words text prediction: Click on File - Options and in the following window, click Advanced. Uncheck the box next to Show text predictions as you type and confirm your decision by clicking OK.
The AutoFormat feature in Word controls many features that can be annoying to some. Access the AutoFormat Control by navigating to the File Tab Menu select Options Proofing AutoCorrect . Choose AutoFormat As You Type. You can pick and choose which features youd like by selecting or deselecting check boxes.
Turn off text predictions On the status bar, choose Text Predictions: On. Switch off Show text predictions while typing.
How to Turn on Predictive Text on Microsoft Word First, open Word and go to File Options. In the Options window, select Proofing, then check the Autocorrect box. Hit OK. When you type now, some words will appear in a pop-up. Just click one or press Enter to insert it into your document.

Press the Windows + I keyboard shortcut to open the Settings app. Click on the Time language tab. Navigate to the Typing section. Click on the toggle button next to the Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard option.
Google Chrome Click the Chrome menu icon (the 3 vertical dots in the top right of your screen) Click on Settings. On the left-hand menu, click to open Autofill and expand the area where you want to disable the autofill, for example, Passwords, Addresses, Payments. Set the toggle control to the OFF position.
