Sweat stains? These are the best ways to remove them Tip 1: Dishwasher rinse aid (for white clothing) Tip 2: Cleaning vinegar (for dark clothes) Tip 3: Sunlight or bile soap. Tip 4: Green soap. Tip 5: Baking soda. Tip 6: Aspirins. Tip 7: Lemon or lemon soap. Bonus tips.

Use a solution of 50 percent vinegar and 50 percent water on the stain. Apply liberally and then treat with laundry soap and water. DO NOT put the garment in the dryer until you have seen that the stain is gone, he warns.
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE: Soak the stain in equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water. Remember that, hydrogen peroxide has bleaching qualities so this method is only suitable for white clothes. BAKING SODA: Mix baking (or bi-carb) soda into a paste in a 3:1 ratio with water and scrub into the stain with an old toothbrush.
A stain, or staining, is the visible discolouration of a surface caused by the interaction of two dissimilar materials. Stains can be accidental, intentional, or can be the result of the deterioration of materials, such as the rust which forms on iron or the patina that develops on bronze.
One of the best ways to remove deeply set sweat stains from shirts is to soak them in a solution of oxygen bleach. We recommend a solution of laundry detergent and a sodium-based bleach such as OxiClean, Edelman says.
Mix baking soda and water to create a paste. Spread the paste over the stained area. Let the paste sit for 20 minutes. Rinse the area with cold water to remove the paste.
