hey guys quick tip on how to include links inside a Google spreadsheet so I want to have a link to the sheet that this came from and each sheet in a Google spreadsheet has its own URL and so I could just drop the URL in here but then thatamp;#39;s kind of messy and I donamp;#39;t like missing things so instead I could use the hyperlink function in Google sheets and what this is asking for is whatamp;#39;s the URL now this can be the URL of anything not just another Google sheet anything on the internet and Iamp;#39;ll just drop the URL in here and then itamp;#39;s asking what do you want the link label to be so I want it to say original report and there you go now alternatively you could have the link in another cell like letamp;#39;s say I had the link in a cell here and I had the text over here I could instead delete this now if youamp;#39;re referencing another cell you donamp;#39;t need the quotation marks all I would need to do is reference those cells I donamp;#39;t use

Here are the steps for how to use the Excel TEXT function: Open the spreadsheet. Start by opening a spreadsheet. Determine the format. Next, choose the format you wish to apply to the text. Choose which values to apply the formatting. Insert the command into the formula. Confirm the conversion.
The TEXT function lets you change the way a number appears by applying formatting to it with format codes. Its useful in situations where you want to display numbers in a more readable format, or you want to combine numbers with text or symbols.
How to use the TEXT function in Google Sheets Type =TEXT or navigate to the Insert tab (or Functions icon) Function TEXT TEXT. Input a value whose formatting you want to change by manual input or cell reference. Define the formatting and insert the argument ingly. Press the Enter key.
We often hear that you want to make data easier to understand by including text in your formulas, such as 2,347 units sold. To include text in your functions and formulas, surround the text with double quotes ().
Heres how you can use it: Assume you have a range of cells (A1:A5) containing text strings that represent formulas, such as =SUM(B1:B5) or =AVERAGE(C1:C5). The EVALUATE() function, when used within ARRAYFORMULA(), will parse and execute each text string in the range A1:A5 as a formula.
In a new cell, enter the formula =TOTEXT(cellreference) , replacing cellreference with the cell containing the formula you want to convert. Press Enter to display the result as a text string.
Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Click a cell thats empty, or double-click a cell that isnt empty. Start typing. Optional: To add another line within a cell, press ⌘ + Enter on a Mac or Ctrl + Enter on Windows.
You can reference the top cell with the values and use =TEXT(value,00000), where the number of 0s in the formula represents the total number of characters you want, then copy and paste to the rest of your range.
