To apply a template to an existing document, we go to File amp;gt; Options amp;gt; Add-ins and in the bottom Manage dropdown we select Templates and click on Go. Then we click on Attach and in the Windows Explorer we select our custom Word template file. Afterwards, we check the box which says Automatically update document styles and with that, our current document will take over the styles from the template document. Open a template or a blank document on which to base the form Go to File New. In the Search for online templates field, type Forms or the kind of form you want. Then press Enter. In the displayed results, right-click any item, then select Create.
Place the mouse where you want to put the fill-in form field. Click the Developer tab, then select Design Mode. Then, click the Content Control buttons to insert content controls like drop-down menus or a date picker. Click the Design Mode button again when youre finished to activate the form.
Tips for creating your Excel survey You can add a survey to an existing workbook. Fill out the Enter a title and Enter a description fields. Drag questions up or down to change their order on the form. When you want to see exactly what your recipients will see, click Save and View.
Click the Developer tab and press Design Mode to enable it. With this mode on, you can add form controls to your document: rich text, plain text, combo box, date picker, check box, and legacy tools. When you finish formatting the form, press the Design Mode button again to exit it.
Create a new document or choose a template. Go to File New or New from Template and search Forms for the questionnaire template you want to use.
