When using Quick Look on your Mac, click the Markup tool . Or when using Quick Actions, choose Markup. Markup is also available in various apps, such as Mail, Notes, TextEdit, and Photos.
Use Markup to write or draw on a photo in Photos on Mac In the Photos app on your Mac, double-click a photo, then click Edit in the toolbar. Click the Extensions button , then choose Markup. Use the tools that appear in the toolbar to mark up the photo. Click Save Changes.
Using the Preview App on Your Mac First, search through the Finder for the photo where you want to place the text. At the toolbar at the top, click on Show Markup Toolbar. Select the text tool and click on the photo where you want to place the caption. After you add text on top of the picture, click File Save.
In the Preview app on your Mac, click the Show Markup Toolbar button (if the Markup toolbar isnt showing). Use the tools in the toolbar to mark up the image (or use the Touch Bar). Use any of the following shape tools to select an area in an image and then crop, copy, or delete: Rectangular Selection.
In the Photos app on your Mac, double-click a photo or video to open it, then click Edit in the toolbar. To see the original image, click and hold the Without Adjustments button, or press and hold the M key. Release the button or the M key to see the item with edits.
You can highlight and zoom shapes using these tools: Highlight : Drag the highlight where you want. To resize it, use the blue handles. Loupe : Drag the loupe to the area you want to magnify. To increase or decrease the magnification, drag the green handle; drag the blue handle to change the loupe size.
How to easily markup photos on Android devices Go to photos and select the photo you want to mark up by tapping it. Tap this icon. Choose a tool to use from the toolbar you now see which includes Select, Color, Pen, Arrow/Line, Shapes (cloud, square and oval) and Text.
