when you work knits and pearls in the same row you have to make sure that your yarn is in the correct position for each stitch I just knitted a stitch my yarn was in the back now Iamp;#39;m going to purl so I bring my yarn to the front between the two needles and purl my stitch now my yarn is in front but I need to knit so I bring it back through the two needles and go on to my next knit stitch and you repeat this every time you need to change positions for the yarn you bring the yarn through the two needles letamp;#39;s say you forget so here my yarn is in the front of the work and Iamp;#39;m going to knit a stitch my yarn should have been in the back what happens is you get a little twist over the needle essentially youamp;#39;ve created a yarn over but in this case we donamp;#39;t want the yarn over we donamp;#39;t want that lace here so you have to tink or a knit back to the yarn over put the yarn in the correct position and then proceed happy knitting
