When I create Excel tools, I always add an instruction sheet. But it can be a pain to create instructions, and itamp;#39;s double-pain if you write them in Excel. This is what happens to me all the time. I create a nice instruction sheet, take away the grid lines, put in light borders and start typing. All good here. So, letamp;#39;s add in some more useful content. And then we run into this. And then I end up doing this. But then, I discovered Justify. To start a new line of text or add spacing between lines or paragraphs of text in a worksheet cell, press Alt+Enter to insert a line break.
Select the column, or range where youll be putting the values, then use CTRL+1 to bring up the Format Cells dialog and on the Number tab select Text.
Try it! Select the cell or column that contains the text you want to split. Select Data Text to Columns. In the Convert Text to Columns Wizard, select Delimited Next. Select the Delimiters for your data. Select Next. Select the Destination in your worksheet which is where you want the split data to appear.
For this you can use the ALT + ENTER option. Within the cell, place your cursor at the point where it will drop down and click ALT + ENTER. As shown below it will now wrap text at the points you want. In both the cases above, the row height is changed to accommodate the text.
Follow these steps to resize your content: Select the cell with text thats too long to fully display, and press [Ctrl]1. Alternatively, you can click the Number groups dialog launcher. In the Format Cells dialog box, click the Alignment tab. Check the Shrink to fit option on the Alignment tab (Figure D). Click OK.

The easiest way to add a space between text in Excel is to use the spacebar. When you type text into a cell, press the spacebar to add a space between words or phrases. This will create a space between the two pieces of text without having to use a delimiter. You can also use the spacebar to create multiple spaces.
