Page Numbers Click on the Insert tab at the top of the page. Click on the Page Number drop down menu. Select and click on the page number location and alignment that corresponds to your assignment requirements.
Page Numbers (also Header Footer) 1. On the Insert tab, in the Header Footer group, click Header, Footer or Page Number. 2. Click the design that you want from the options.
Inserting Header, Footer, and Page Number in Word To insert Header, Footer, and Page Numbers, click on Insert and look for Header Footer options on the right of the ribbon. Choose from built-in options or click on Edit Header/Footer to design your own.
