Select the text or object you want to use as a selectable hyperlink. Right-click and then select Link. Under Link to, click Place in This Document. In the list, select the heading or bookmark that you want to link to.

DOCX is the standard file format for saving documents in Word. If youre more at home on a Mac than a PC, however, you can also use DOCX on applications such as Pages, Google Docs or Open Office.
From the Layout tab, click Size. Select More Paper Sizes from the drop-down menu. The Page Setup dialog box will appear. Adjust the values for Width and Height, then click OK.
Using the Insert Tab Open your document and find the Insert tab at the top menu. Click it and a drop-down menu will appear with various options. Select Page Break to insert a page break at the current cursor position. Try Blank Page or Cover Page for a blank page or a pre-designed template.
On the page AFTER the TOC or whatever is the last page in the first section, put your cursor in the header/footer, UN-check the box for link to previous, and go to Insert Page numbers. When the page number is entered it will show up as 3. Right-click on that number and select Page number options.
