Hi everyone, Kevin here today, weamp;#39;re going to learn how to add page numbers in Microsoft Word, starting from any page in your document. It turns out itamp;#39;s a little bit complicated. Letamp;#39;s find out how to do this. Here I am in Microsoft Word, and I would like to include page numbers on this document. Of course, I donamp;#39;t want to include a page number on the cover page because that would be silly. To insert page numbers, first off, letamp;#39;s go to the top tabs and click on the one titled insert, and right here in the center, thereamp;#39;s a category for header and footer. Letamp;#39;s click on this drop-down for page number, and here you can choose the location of your page numbers. Iamp;#39;ll go with the bottom of the page and letamp;#39;s put it over on the right-hand side. Here, I now have page numbers in my document, but here we see that I have a page number on my cover page and I donamp;#39;t want a page number there.

The page setup allows controlling the settings available in Word in Layout Page Setup. These settings help adjust the general setup of the document such as the orientation, the margins, the width and height, and more.
Page layout: Used to create documents with a more custom design, like newsletters, books or posters. A page layout document is like a canvas that you add text boxes, images and other objects to, then arrange the objects on the page however you like.
Look for the Insert or Blank Break option (it might vary depending on your device and Word version). Tap on it to insert a page break. Step 4: Confirm the New Page After selecting the Insert or Page Break option, youll notice a new page added to your document.
Page setup refers to the process of configuring the layout and formatting settings for a document or webpage. It involves adjusting the paper size, margins, orientation, headers and footers, and other elements to ensure that the content appears correctly when printed or viewed on different devices.
You can also open the Page Setup dialog box by navigating to the Layout tab and clicking the small arrow in the bottom-right corner of the Page Setup group. You can use Words convenient Set as Default feature to save all of the formatting changes youve made and automatically apply them to new documents.
Using the Insert Tab Open your document and find the Insert tab at the top menu. Click it and a drop-down menu will appear with various options. Select Page Break to insert a page break at the current cursor position. Try Blank Page or Cover Page for a blank page or a pre-designed template.
The function of the Page Setup Group in applications like Microsoft Word or Excel is to control the layout and appearance of pages in a document. Common functions found within this group include setting margins, orientation (portrait or landscape), and page size.
