You can use the Heading x paragraph styles to create the outline and then use the Navigator (F5) to modify the outline. ToolsOutline Numbering gives you the possibility to apply numbering. Please add [Solved] at the beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
Outline in Writer is the term used for a paragraph or document (chapter) numbering system. I believe youre looking for the Line Style setting for a border. This setting on the formatting dialogs. For a page, select Format Page Borders Line Style.
It provides a framework so that information is presented to the reader in a logical and orderly manner. It is called a working outline for two reasons; first, it is a sketch or initial plan for your paper and it is flexible and can change as you research and learn more about your topic.
Templates can contain anything that regular documents can contain, such as text, graphics, a set of styles, and user-specific setup information such as measurement units, language, the default printer, and toolbar and menu customization. All documents in Apache OpenOffice are based on templates.
OpenOffice uses ODF format as its default document format. Most other word processors, of recent vintage, also have the ability to import and export ODF.
OpenOffice Calc Select the cells you want to add a border to. Click Format and click Cells. Click the Borders tab. Click the icon that corresponds to the borders you want in the Line Arrangement section. Customize your borders in the Line and Spacing to Contents sections. Click OK to insert your borders.
