When I create Excel tools, I always add an instruction sheet. But it can be a pain to create instructions, and itamp;#39;s double-pain if you write them in Excel. This is what happens to me all the time. I create a nice instruction sheet, take away the grid lines, put in light borders and start typing. All good here. So, letamp;#39;s add in some more useful content. And then we run into this. And then I end up doing this. But then, I discovered Justify. This video is part of my Excel Basics course, itamp;#39;s going to get you started the right way using Excel for the real world. To find out more, check out the description of this video. So for example, if I have something that is this long and Iamp;#39;ve written instructions here, I want it to be capped to this column. So, anything after should flow down. So hereamp;#39;s what I used to do. I will go here, check out which word comes to letamp;#39;s say, column F, so everything after amp;#39;becomeamp;#39; Iamp;#39;m going to

Notes in Excel are comments you can add to cells to express thoughts and opinions about the contents of a spreadsheet. A cell with a note attached to it has a small red triangle in the upper right corner of the cell. If you hover your cursor over a cell with this indicator, a yellow box containing a message appears.
In Excel, you can convert comments back to notes by following these steps: Select the cell containing the comment you want to convert back to a note. Right-click on the cell and choose Edit Note from the context menu. Copy the content of the comment.
If you have received the message The document is locked for editing by another user when attempting to edit an Excel file, it could be due to one of the following reasons: The Excel file is password-protected. Microsoft Excel didnt close properly, and the owner file wasnt erased.
If you are having trouble editing an existing note because a line appears when you hover over the cell and disappears when you right-click and go to edit note, one possible solution is to zoom in so you can see the very thin hairline that looks to be a note textbox.
Check Comment Settings: Make sure that comments are not disabled in your Excel settings. Go to the File tab, select Options, choose Advanced, and ensure that the Show comments option is selected.
How to Edit Notes in Excel? Right-click on the cell note or go to Review Notes. Then, select Edit Note. To resize your notes, place your cursor on a corner and drag the two-sided arrow to increase or decrease the size. To reposition, drag the note using the four-sided arrow to the preferred position.
If you want to keep records of your work in one place or show a snapshot of your data, you can add an Excel spreadsheet (also called a worksheet) to a page in your OneNote notebook.
