Be sure to like and subscribe to our channel, if you find this video helpful. Consider your note-taking system. The way you took notes as a student may not work for you as a professional. School notes are meant for information retention whereas work notes are more action-oriented. We suggest establishing a consistent note-taking system that focuses on goals and tasks. Additionally, as a professional, office supplies that are reliable but also appropriate for work are a must. Whether youamp;#39;re a new hire or part of the C-suite, you wanna be taken seriously. In the United States and many other countries, we commonly use Solfge with a movable Do, just as Guido did a thousand years ago. That means that Do is always the first note of the scale, the home base note, no matter what the key signature.
The first note on a musical scale is the tonic. Notice that this is also the name of the eighth note, which is the same tone an octave apart. For example, in the C major scale, the tonic is C (C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C), and in the D minor scale, the tonic is D (D-E-F-G-A-Bb (flat)-C-D).
You cant reliably determine a songs key by where a song starts. Whats more reliable is to go by where a song ends. Songs are much more likely to end on the first note or chord of the key. And, that makes sense because the end is where you want everything to come to a stop.
First Note means the promissory note signed by the Borrower together with the Loan Agreement and given to the holder of the First Note to evidence the Borrowers promise to repay, with interest, loan advances made by the holder of the First Note and secured by the First Security Instrument.
tonic, in music, the first note (degree) of any diatonic (e.g., major or minor) scale. It is the most important degree of the scale, serving as the focus for both melody and harmony. The term tonic may also refer to the tonic triad, the chord built in thirds from the tonic note (as CEG in C major).
A root note is the main note on which a chord is built. It is the foundation, or root, of the chord. For example, the three notes G, B, and D form a G major chord. The note G is the chords root note.
Intro. This is an easy one it is found at the beginning and sets up the song, establishing many of the songs important elements, such as the key, tempo, rhythmic feel and even its energy and attitude. You will find that the intro is often the same music without singing over it as the verse or even the chorus.
Rule 1: Always take notes If your notes are solid, you dont have to start from scratch using a textbook when the test comes so it actually saves time.
