Select Layout Margins. Select Custom Margins. In Margins, use the Up and Down arrows to enter the values you want. Select OK when done.
The paragraph width of the original is likely wider than your current page minus the margins. Go into the Paragraph formatting dialog and look for Indentation numbers that are negative. This allows the paragraph to spill over the supposedly finite page margins.
To justify text in Microsoft Word, select the text you want to justify and go to the home tab. In the paragraph section, click on the small arrow in the bottom right corner. In the paragraph dialog box that appears, under the alignment section, select justify from the drop-down menu.
