Click and drag the square indent marker on the left or the triangle indent marker on the right to a new position, which changes the margins for the current paragraph (the paragraph in which the blinking cursor resides) or all paragraphs in a selection.
Try it! Select Layout Margins. Select Custom Margins. In Margins, use the Up and Down arrows to enter the values you want. Select OK when done.
It means to think about your next step forward. The word marginal means additional. The first glass of lemonade on a hot day quenches your thirst, but the next glass, maybe not so much. If you think at the margin, you are thinking about what the next or additional action means for you.
Page Margins The top margin needs to be one inch. The bottom margin, and your right- or outside margin can vary from that by up to a quarter-inch. The left, or inside, margin needs to allow space for the three-hole punch binding for when your screenplay is printed, so that should be about one-and-a-half inches.
To do this, go to Document Page Layout. Here you can increase or decrease the text margins. We recommend that before you begin tweaking you note the initial settings in case you need them again.
Final Draft has two paper sizes, US Letter and A4. To switch from one to another, go to Document Page Layout Margins tab and choose the size from the dropdown menu.
Margins Choose the Page Layout tool . Choose Page Layout Adjust Current Page Only to affect only that page. Otherwise, changes affect all pages. Drag the handles at the edge of the page margins. You can also enter values directly into the number boxes of the Edit Page Margins dialog box.
