Check spelling and grammar all at once On the Review tab, click Spelling Grammar. Word displays the issues it finds in the Spelling Grammar dialog box. You can repair Office by going to Control Panel Programs Programs and Features Microsoft Office Change Repair. You can choose between Quick Repair or Online Repair, depending on the severity of the problem. - Recover your Office files from the backup or the temporary folder.

How to fix it: Select Resolve. Select Next on the Conflicts tab to navigate through each change. Accept or reject each change. Once all changes are resolved, close the conflict view.
To troubleshoot and fix Microsoft Word not responding, follow these steps. Check for system updates, close unnecessary programs and processes, restart your computer, repair Microsoft Office installation, disable add-ins and extensions, clear temporary files and cache, and reset Microsoft Word settings.
