hi iamp;#39;m lacey crisco iamp;#39;m the assistant curator of art at albuquerque museum and today iamp;#39;m talking about our upcoming exhibition in the angelique and jim lowry works on paper gallery which opens march 5th the exhibition is called paper centric and it features works from our own collection that use paper as a primary medium rather than a support for other mediums like watercolor or ink so thereamp;#39;s a lot of fun innovative sculptural work some found paper works cut paperworks uh things like that so weamp;#39;re down in the vault uh with actually one of my favorite pieces in the collection and in this exhibition is a work by barton finish called souvenirs and it is a large display of currency from all over the world that has been folded in different ways into these sort of iconic shapes that represent that country so for england for example thereamp;#39;s a tea bag with the queenamp;#39;s face featured prominently the united states is a cowboy hat thereamp;
