hello this is Evan with clinical informatics team and today Iamp;#39;m going over normal pap smear result into the flow sheet so the purpose of this is to notify the patient of a normal pap smear result complete the order and document the result into the flow sheet so after receiving a task from a provider with the normal pap smear results go to the clinical desktop of the patient and find the active or overdue Pap order this will be under the orders tab and if there is an order right click the order and select enter result and enter the result normally through here now if there is not an order here you will have to enter the order through the preventative care flow sheet so navigate to the flow sheet tab and then if you are already not on preventative care select this drop down here and select preventative care and then from here youamp;#39;re going to click new column and then youamp;#39;ll select new encounter and then youamp;#39;ll enter the date that the pap smear was done so
