so in this video we will talk about the Mobi format that Amazon will discontinue for many years Mobi has been the format that users has using when they side load books to a Kindle device for example this Kindle paper white and also in the Kindle app on a iPhone iPad or an Android phone but Amazon has switched from using Mobi format to new formats they want us to use UB now to side load books to your Kindle device and when you do that the Epub book converts to Amazonamp;#39;s own format KFX and if we start by switching to my desktop now I will show you first the mail from Amazon here you can see the mail we got from Amazon and in this mail you see that from November 1st they will stop allowing to send Mobi files to an Amazon account so if you use send to Kindle for email or from the Kindle apps on IOS and Android and by the way I have videos on my channel on how to do that and I prefer sending from the Kindle app on my iPhone and iPad to my Amazon Kindle account that way they w

Yes. If a book contains pictures, you can see them in black and white on a Kindle ereader (inlcuding the Paperwhite). If a book contains color pictures they will show up in color on a Kindle Fire, Kindle app for iOS and Android or Kindle Cloud Reader online. Why doesnt the Kindle display book cover images?
MOBI (short for Mobipocket) is a proprietary format primarily used on Amazons Kindle devices and applications, but can also be read on other e-readers and mobile devices. MOBI files are designed to be fixed-layout, and can display both reflowable content and fixed width layout.
You can choose to renew it or just buy or borrow the books you want. Can you read picture books on a Kindle for Kids? Yes, you can.
To insert an image: Go to the Insert tab. In the Illustrations section, click Pictures. Select the file from your computer and click Insert.
Uploading your Images Image uploads are limited to 1MB per image. Supported image types are PNG, JPG and GIF.
Right click and select edit metadata for individual book you want to change. There is option to browse and select the cover that you want. Save the file. Right click on the book and select open in directory, now copy the ebook.mobi file.
View photos in the Kindle Fire Gallery After you load photos into your Pictures library and disconnect the micro-B cable, you can tap the Apps button on the Kindle Fire Home screen, and then tap Gallery. This displays an album that represents the folder you copied to your Kindle Fire.
For a rich reading experience, provide the best available version of the images in your Kindle eBooks, using these guidelines: Images that are pictorial in nature (e.g., Photographs, historical images) should not be blurry, smudged, or unclear to the point that it distracts the reader from the narrative.
