Insert Images in a Google Doc The simplest way to insert an image is click-and-drag. Just find the image you want to insert and drag it from your computers file browser to the browser window, wherever you want the image to be up in your document. The image will upload and show up right where you dragged it.

Crop an image You can trim the edges of an image or remove an unwanted section. On your computer, open a document or presentation. Click on the image you want to crop. Around the border, click and drag the blue squares into the shape you want.
Place the insertion point in the document where you want to insert the image. Click Insert Image Upload from computer. Select the image youd like to use and then click Open.
To put text on top of an image in Google Docs: Insert your image via Insert Image . Open Insert Drawing + New . Click the image icon in the drawing tool, upload your image again. Click the text box icon, draw a text box, and type your text over the image.
Keep the cursor in your Google Docs document where you want to place the images. Go to Insert Table and select a 21 table. Keep the cursor in the first column and go to Insert Image to add the first image. Similarly, keep the cursor in the second column and add the second image.
