in Excel if you need to swap first and the last name you enter the modified name like this and then you press Ctrl e to do flash field in Windows and in Mac will be command e but you can see in Excel it doesnamp;#39;t handle the single name very well but letamp;#39;s go over to the Google sheet here and see how Google sheet works with it in Google sheet you enter the first row and Google has this thing called smart field which is Ctrl shift y it doesnamp;#39;t work too well if you introduce new characters if you remove that comma and you press Ctrl shift y then it works but nevertheless it doesnamp;#39;t handle single word very well as well so the next best option is to use a reg X replace and this is the formula for it and then you apply to the rest of the rows as you can see the regex formula handles single word very well and also the salutation like doctor it handles it very well
