you wouldnamp;#39;t know it by looking at them but some of these men are actually inmates with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections they are part of a work release program employed at ATC drivetrain the Oklahoma City company is a world leader we try to do 30 in remanufacturing engines and Transmissions when we first heard about the opportunity to partner with ATC itamp;#39;s been awesome itamp;#39;s been very very rewarding we could always use more employers to partner with us to to get the inmates out there working in the community you know there are some that have a stereotype oh theyamp;#39;re inmates but once they start working with them they see theyamp;#39;re just everyday normal people and when theyamp;#39;re released theyamp;#39;re going to live next door to somebody so you want them well prepared a lot of our inmates have those licensed trades heat air plumbing um HVAC we have a couple of licensed guys that work for Air Comfort Solutions Oklahoma Roofing is a employer

Work release assignment provides eligible inmates the opportunity to seek, obtain, and maintain employment in the community before releasing from incarceration. Inmates in this program are located in Oklahoma City, Union City, Lawton, Enid and Vinita, Oklahoma.
FTC Oklahoma City was built in 1995 and operates as an administrative security federal transfer center. FTCs confine, on a short term basis, inmates who are being transported through the U.S. Marshals Service or other federal law enforcement bodies and the BOP.
As of 2021, the Department of Corrections is responsible for the management, maintenance and security of 23 correctional institutions across the state. Of these facilities, only eight were built originally to serve as prisons. The execution chamber is located at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
