Today, Im gonna be talking about my role as the First Assistant Cameraman. The First Assistant Camera, or First AC, isresponsible for the camera and pulling focus on a feature film. It is my job to make surethat there is a fresh battery on the camera, that the correct lens is on the camera,and that the camera is in tip top shape. I communicate with the rest of the members ofthe camera team and make sure that there are no problems that the Director of Photography needsto be aware of.
