The best way to locate information on a federal prisoner for free is to go to the Bureau of Federal Prisons. Then, go to the inmate locator tab. You can search by inmate number or name. Inmate information in Oklahoma is available in electronic and paper formats. The electronic format accessible online is free to requesters. The department of corrections provides access to its free online database. Most counties in the state of Oklahoma also maintain an online Inmate search that is free to use.
Work release assignment provides eligible inmates the opportunity to seek, obtain, and maintain employment in the community before releasing from incarceration. Inmates in this program are located in Oklahoma City, Union City, Lawton, Enid and Vinita, Oklahoma.
