An HTML email is just HTML. Most emails you send or receive are MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) multi-part emails (not to be confused with MIME type). This standard combines both plain text and HTML, leaving it up to the recipient to decide which to render.
How to create an HTML email Open an application where you can type HTML code. Begin your HTML document type. Create the body and main table. Design the email template structure and header. Create the content area. Change the style of the email template footer. Style the text. Test the email.
The defines a field for an e-mail address. The input value is automatically validated to ensure it is a properly formatted e-mail address. To define an e-mail field that allows multiple e-mail addresses, add the multiple attribute. Tip: Always add the tag for best accessibility practices!
You can create an HTML mailto link by using an anchor tag with the href attribute and inserting the mailto parameter after it. If you want to send an email to more than one address, separate your email address with a comma.
Go to New Email to compose a new message. On the top ribbon - you will find a meatball menu icon (three horizontal dots). Click on it. A dropdown menu will appear - from where you can select the option of Switch To HTML (refer Figure 1).
To create an email link in HTML, you can use the mailto protocol followed by the recipients email address. When the link is clicked, the users email client should open a new email window addressed to the specified email address.
How to insert HTML-formatted content into emails? Copy the contents from the existing email signature. Go to your email template, and insert the copied content into the email body, either via right-click or using Ctrl+V. Then click on More text , and select Code View . Now you can edit your contents HTML code.
