Before you create a flow chart, add a drawing canvas by clicking the Insert tab, clicking Shapes in the Illustrations group, and then clicking New Drawing Canvas.
Select Drawing Scale. Select Pre-defined scale, and choose the pre-defined scale you want. Select a scale ratio if youd like, or select Custom Scale and enter your own values. Select OK.
