The WORKDAY function computes a date that is a specific number of working days away from a start date. A positive days value calculates a future date, while a negative value calculates a past date. Holidays are optional and can be provided as a range of dates that should be skipped in the calculation.
You can use the DATE function in conjunction with other functions to convert the dates to a number that can be recognized as a date. In contrast to Microsoft Excel, which stores dates as a serial number, DAX date functions always return a datetime data type.
Calculates the work date that is before or after a start date, as specified by a number of days. A set of holiday dates can be optionally specified. Input can be a column reference or the output of the DATE or TIME function.
DATESYTD: Returns a set of dates in the year up to the last date visible in the filter context. TOTALMTD: Evaluates the specified expression over the interval which begins on the first of the month and ends with the last date in the specified date column after applying specified filters.
WEEKDAY DAX Function (Date and Time) Returns a number identifying the day of the week of a date. The number is in a range 1-7 or 0-6 ing to the choice of the ReturnType parameter.
Returns a table that contains a column of dates that begins with a specified start date and continues until a specified end date. This function is suited to pass as a filter to the CALCULATE function. Use it to filter an expression by a custom date range.
Returns the number of whole workdays between two dates (inclusive). Parameters specify which and how many days are weekend days. Weekend days and days specified as holidays are not considered as workdays.
For example: If I want to add 5 workdays to 19-02-2021 then the date will be 26-02-2021. The function will exclude the weekends. Further Enhancement: If we can pass an array of date as an optional parameter which can contain the list of the holidays which should also be excluded while calculating workday.
