In Google Sheets, the TODATE() function is used to convert a value into a date format. It allows you to extract the date portion from a given value and display it in a recognizable date format.
Use autofill to complete a series Highlight the cells. Youll see a small blue box in the lower right corner. Drag the blue box any number of cells down or across. If the cells form a series of dates or numbers, the series will continue across the selected cells.
To apply a custom date or time format to your spreadsheet: On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Highlight the data you want to format. Click Format. Number. Click Custom date and time. Search in the menu text box to select a format. Click Apply.
How to change date format in Google Sheets to dd/mm/yyyy. Select the cell with the date value, then go to Format = Number = Custom date and time.
