hi welcome to learning how to insert comments into a Google Doc to insert comments into a Google Doc weamp;#39;re going to go up to the insert menu and choose comment and you can see that thereamp;#39;s some keyboard shortcuts there that you can use if you would like when I click on insert comment youamp;#39;re going to notice on the right side of my screen that I will get a pop up a little yellow pop-up box and wherever my cursor was before I chose to go to insert comment youamp;#39;ll see turns yellow on my document over in my yellow box I can start typing my comment in there and Iamp;#39;m going to choose to click then on the blue comment button without clicking on that blue comment button my comment is not going to stay and nobody else will be able to view it after having my comment there if I choose to edit it I just have to click on to the comment and I can choose to either edit my comment delete my comment add more to my comment by replying I can also reply to other people

Use an @mention in the comment. The option appears to assign the comment as a task to the person mentioned. Select the Assign to checkbox. Post the comment or reply.
In To Do on Windows, you can assign tasks while creating them. Type @ in the task entry field, then type a list members name to assign them the task youre adding. Note: moving tasks assigned to someone between lists will remove assignments. Youll need to re-assign the tasks you move to another list.
Commenter: User can comment and make suggestions on a file, but cant edit or share it.
Highlight the text that contains the information you want to comment on and select the New Comment button, Write your comment and type @ followed by the name of the team member you want to tag. Select the Assign to check box to convert your comment into a task.
Insert a comment On the Review tab, click New Comment. Type your comment. Word shows your comment in a balloon in the documents margin.
Edit a comment Select an existing comment. Select the Edit comment button. Make your changes. Select the Post comment button or Ctrl + Enter to commit the edit.
On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. Highlight the text, images, cells, or slides you want to comment on. Type your comment. Click Comment.
