How does code with me work?

The host can start a session to invite other participants (guests) and share project code with them. Session participants either follow each other or navigate the code independently. The session participants can edit code located on the hosts computer.

Is code with me P2P?

Code With Me Guest is downloaded, launched and connects to the session (either using P2P or relays, depending on the companies policies and P2P availability).

Is IntelliJ free or paid?

note. IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is free and can be used without any license. You cannot upgrade to IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate: download and it separately as described in IntelliJ IDEA.

How to work together in IntelliJ?

When you click Start Session, IntelliJ IDEA will create a link that you can then share with others, even if they dont have the IDE installed. They can open the link in the browser, the terminal or paste it into IntelliJ IDEA using the Join session option in the Code With Me drop-down from the main toolbar.

How do I run code with me?

Create a session Make sure that the Code With Me plugin is enabled. On the main toolbar, click . In the list that opens, click Start Code With Me Session. In the Code With Me: Start Session dialog, configure the access permissions for your guests and click Start Session. Send the link to guests. Click Accept.

Is code with me paid?

Code With Me is free for any guests who join the collaborative sessions. Hosts can also use the free Community plan.
