Premiere Pro does have Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), giving it the capability to generate subtitles automatically.
Navigate to File Import, select your caption file, and click Open. Place the caption file in the timeline. Drag and drop the caption file from the Project panel onto the timeline.
Captions are brief descriptions related to the image (for example commentary, attributions or quotations). Alternative text (alt text) is a short description of the information an image conveys.
docHub Premiere Pro comes with some pre-animated text templates within the Essential Graphics panel. Navigate to Graphics Essential Graphics Browse to browse through the templates. Once you find one you like, drag it to the timeline where you want it to appear.
Premiere Pro allows you to import SRT files for your subtitles, which can be super handy when working as a part of a larger team. Click the three dots at the top-right corner of the Captions panel. From the menu, choose Import Import Static Transcript. Navigate to your transcription file(s) and click Import.
Once you have a caption file, follow these steps to add captions in Premiere. Import Captions File. Click File in Premiere Pros upper right corner. Place the File in the Project Timeline. You should see the file among your other project items. Enable Closed Captions.
On Windows, after youve downloaded fonts you would like to use (they usually come in a compressed zip file), right-click on the font and choose Extract. Youll see all available TrueType and OpenType font files. Right-click on either font, and choose from the options present.
