welcome to a ubc open badges video about setting the required steps for issuing a badge based on earning other badges in this video we will cover how to use badge earning as a requirement for your badge this feature can be useful if you have a leveled badge system where an earner can claim higher level badges based on a tiered or meta level system more information about leveled badge systems is available in the plan section of the open badges website letamp;#39;s get started weamp;#39;ll start at our WordPress dashboard where will click on badge OS will select edit for the badge that will be issued based on earned badges and will scroll down to the required step section next weamp;#39;ll select add new step from this menu we can either choose any achievement of type which means our badge will be issued based on the earner achieving any other badges for example we select this if our current badge was issued when someone had earned any three other badges the other option we can select
