hey guys regatta here welcome to another blog tech tips in todayamp;#39;s tutorial guys i have another mac os today i have another mock tutorial and of course i have the macbook air right here will also apply to the macbook pro all right so iamp;#39;m going to show you to properly close it up that you have open on your device all right so letamp;#39;s use a very popular example right now as you can see here guys iamp;#39;m going to open safari itamp;#39;s already closed so if i tap notice that safari is open now you might instinctively decide to close that up by going to the upper left hand section and using this x right here but of course this doesnamp;#39;t actually close the app so let me show you exactly what i mean so letamp;#39;s say i went to google for example and then i decided to close now for convenience the app is not closed it might seem that way but itamp;#39;s not you can know itamp;#39;s open if you look very closely at the icon down here youamp;#39;ll

The easiest way to manage background items and any notifications related to them is to check System Settings: Click the Apple menu and choose System Settings. Select General Login Items. Under the Allow in the Background section, turn off any apps you dont want to allow to run processes in the background.
The Mac Task Manager is a mini-version of the Activity Monitor. To open it, simultaneously press down the [CMD] + [ALT] + [ESC] keys on your keyboard. This will open a window containing a list of all currently opened programs and applications that are running in the background.
What to Know Go to Settings Apps, select the app from the list, and tap App battery usage. Then, tap Force stop to shut it down, or switch off Allow background usage to prevent background activity. To see apps running in the background, go to Settings System Developer options Running services.
Check Activity Monitor Open a Finder window and navigate to Applications Utilities. Double-click Activity Monitor. In the main window, you will see a list of processes with strange names. This is everything running on your Mac right now.
Turn on screen sharing on your Mac On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Sharing on the right.
2. Force a shutdown using Activity Monitor Launch Activity Monitor from within the Applications Utilities folder in Finder. Find the app you want to force close in the list of running processes, then select it. Click the X button at the top of the Activity Monitor window. Click Force Quit to confirm.
