hi in this lightboard session weamp;#39;re going to talk about runtime fabric at a high level and talk about the various parts that you need to understand now the control plane plays an important role in still providing the management interface but we need to set up some infrastructure as part of runtime fabric because itamp;#39;s running on your infrastructure now the two parts to two conceptual parts to this there are controller and worker now in reality these will be multiple servers playing a role so that you have high availability in a production environment but weamp;#39;re just going to represent them as two main boxes at the moment so multiple nodes would be a part of this now the controller provides the admin capabilities so the stuff for coordinating the deployment the management cluster control type stuff so and itamp;#39;s also responsible for load balancing capabilities so as far as the distribution of requests to your different applications that plays a role i

To use certificate files for authentication, you must save the certificates in the Windows certificate store. A client certificate in the Windows certificate store is used for client authentication. There is also a trusted certificate authority (CA) for the client certificate in the Windows certificate store.
To test that mTLS is working correctly, first try to access without specifying your client cert. A certificate error will be returned denying access to the endpoint. Now lets specify the client certificate and key when accessing the site. This will be successful verifying that your endpoint is protected with mTLS.
When a TLS connection is established the server provides a certificate that the client validates before trusting the servers identity. The server can also request the client to authenticate itself through a client certificate. The latter is referred to mutual TLS and sometimes even called client TLS.
In a TLS connection, the client and the server first agree upon the version of TLS that they are going to use, which is the highest that both support. Then, they agree upon cipher suites that they are going to use. Finally, they establish a common key for encryption and the data transfer can begin.
mTLS requires the client to also present a trusted certificate to the server. Instead of having to rely on traditional authentication methods like passwords or API keys, the server to client connection is secured using TLS certificates.
For mTLS, both the client and server must have their own private key and certificate. In the following example, they are both signed by the same Certificate Authority (CA). the certificates and the key on the Aerospike Server nodes: CA Certificate: example.
