Your keychain may be locked automatically if your computer has been inactive for a period of time or your user password and keychain password are out of sync. You can set a length of time that Keychain Access waits before automatically requiring you to enter your password again.
Media Access Control (MAC) authentication is used to authenticate devices based on their physical MAC addresses. It is an early form of filtering. MAC authentication requires that the MAC address of a machine must match a manually defined list of addresses.
If you dont see your name, click Sign in with your Apple ID, enter your Apple ID (or another email address or phone number on file), then enter your password. If you dont have an Apple ID, you can create one. Click Sign-In Security, click Two-Factor Authentication, then click Get Verification Code.
MACs use authentication cryptography to verify the legitimacy of data sent through a network or transferred from one person to another.
Click Sign-In Security, then click Turn on next to Two-Factor Authentication. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password, then click Sign in. Answer your security questions, then click Continue. Enter your phone number for verification, select a verification method, then click Continue.
