Forti Mobile allows you to generate one-time password (OTP) values on your mobile device for use in two-factor authentication. Once your is activated, you will not need any network access to generate OTPs on your device.
To connect to SSL VPN: On the Remote Access tab, select the VPN connection from the dropdown list. Enter your username and password. Click the Connect button. A field will appear, prompting you for the Forti code. After connecting, you can now browse your remote network.
Tap Info on the top left of Forti Mobile and then tap Transfer s. You will receive a transfer code. Scan it on the new device. If scanning the QR code on the same device, please make sure you have a stable network.
Associating a Forti to an administrator account Ensure that you have successfully added your Forti serial number to FortiOS and that its status is Available. Go to System Administrators. Enable Two-factor Authentication. From the dropdown list, select the desired Forti serial number.
FTM is an OATH-compliant, event- and time-based, one-time password (OTP) generator application for mobile devices. It generates OTP codes on your mobile device without the need for a physical .
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication Click the Account menu at the top-right of portal and select Security Credentials. In the navigation pane, click Two Factor Authentication. The Two Factor Authentication page opens. Select the 2FA option, Forti or Email. See Logging in with 2FA for the first time. Click Update.
Once assigned, these s will work even if the FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator has no internet access. However, Forti-200 user assignment without internet access is possible. A Forti Mobile can only be registered to a single FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator unit at a time.
