How do I turn off inline attachments on Mac?

1: you need to give terminal full disk access, System Preferences Security Privacy Privacy Full Disk Access, add Terminal and check it to be active. 4: restart mail. Create a new email and now attachments are in icons not that annoying embeds.

How do I change the attachment settings in Mac Mail?

For the current message: Choose Edit Attachments Insert Attachments at End. For all messages: From the Message viewer, choose Edit Attachments Always Insert Attachments at End of Message (a checkmark shows its on).

Why are my attachments going in the body of the email?

If you attempt to upload an attachment to Rich Text or Plain Text, it will add as a copy. If you use Rich Text format (RTF), any files you attach will show up as a copy in the message body.

Why is my attachment showing in the body of my email on my Mac?

By default, Apples Mail app for Macs will show any attachments as an inline preview. This means that a large image will quickly fill up the mail window and make it difficult to navigate.
