The easy answer is no. The thing is that your Mac accesses some type of cache files all the time. A safer option is to remove cache you dont need, like browser cache for all browsers you have on your Mac or app cache for apps you dont actively use.
How to clear browser cache on Macbook, iMac, or MacBook Air To clear your browser cache on Mac, open Finder and launch Go to Folder using the Shift + Command + G shortcut. Thats it. If you prefer a keyboard shortcut, hit Command + Shift + Delete to clear the cache on Chrome for Mac. And thats it.
Choose Apple menu System Settings, then click General in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click Transfer or Reset on the right, then click Erase All Contents and Settings. In Erase Assistant, enter your administrator information and click Unlock.
To clear cache accumulated from applications on Mac, navigate to Finder, hold the Shift, Command and G buttons simultaneously, insert ~/Library/Caches in the tab provided to view your cache files, select the go button, hold the Command and A buttons simultaneously to select all files and press the Command and Delete
To clean hard-to-remove smudges, you can moisten the cloth with a 70-percent isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution. Dont clean the screen of your iMac with a cleaner containing acetone. Use a cleaner intended for use with a screen or display. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Users Groups in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the Info button next to the user or group you want to delete, then click Delete User or Delete Group. Note: If a user is logged in to this Mac now, you cant select them.
In Chrome On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More. Delete browsing data. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time. Select the types of information you want to remove. Click Delete data.
Safari (Mac) Go to Safari Empty Cache, or hit Opt + Cmd + E. To refresh, click the refresh button on the address bar or press Cmd + R.
