Paint the tape of the both sides of the zipper with the Fabric Brush Marker. Paint(rather like brush) the tape edge between zip teeth with The Fabric Brush Marker. Clean out the dye color on the teeth by a piece of cloth(waste) which is wetted by Alcohol or Ethanol.
In many cases, you can use the water-vinegar mixture to remove some of the exterior signs of corrosion. Remember to move and slide the zipper throughout the process to clean as many areas as possible. For a particularly stubborn corroded zipper, we suggest using something stronger.
To clean a zipper with visible corrosion/salt damage, use a mixture of white vinegar and boiling fresh water along with a small brush to scrub the zipper in the affected areas. While youre doing this, it also helps to open and close the zipper if possible to make sure you are cleaning every surface.
Simply mix boiling water with a few drops of dish soap and rub the zipper with the solution using a toothbrush. Do this when the zipper is closed and open to ensure you get into all the teeth.
You could apply a layer of black shoe polish to the zip, being careful not to get any on the fabric around it. This may not be a particularly permanent solution but after a few coats I imagine it would begin to darken.
Use a soft toothbrush and vinegar. Pour white vinegar into a bowl or container. Wet a soft-bristled toothbrush in the vinegar. Rub the zipper gently but thoroughly with the toothbrush, on both sides of the zipper.

Lubricate: Rub soap or a candle stick liberally over the zippers teeth. Alternatively, you can use liquid or gel lubricants, such as Vaseline or WD-40, but use a cotton swab to apply these products to avoid staining the surrounding fabric. Get it moving again.
