Assign retention labels and archive policies Go to the Microsoft 365 sign-in page. In the message list or the folder pane, right-click the message or folder that you want to assign a policy to, then select Assign policy. Select the retention label or archive policy you want to assign to the message or folder.
Use the Microsoft Purview compliance portal to add or remove retention tags. Sign in to the Microsoft Purview compliance portal and navigate to Solutions Data lifecycle management Exchange (legacy) MRM Retention policies.
In the body of the email message or calendar invite, enter the @ symbol and the first few letters of the contacts first or last name. When Outlook offers you one or more suggestions, choose the contact you want to mention. By default, the contacts full name is included and added to the To: line.
For this, it seems that it is your outlook client issue. You can try the suggestions bellowing and check if these can make any difference. Repair Office Application: Repair your office application: You can refer to Repair an Office application (microsoft.com) and then check the result.
Click on the Options tab in Outlook. Select the Mail tab. Scroll down to find Send messages. Enable the Suggest names to mention when I use the @symbol in a message option. Click OK to save the changes3.
As illustrated in the preceding figure, retention tags are used to apply retention settings to folders and individual items such as e-mail messages and voice mail.
Open Outlook. Right-click any email message. Select Assign Policy. Select one personal tag that you want to assign.
MRM in Exchange Online works using retention tags and retention policies. Administrators can group retention tags into a retention policy and then apply the policy to a users mailbox. Retention tags are used to apply retention settings to folders and individual items.
