Blot the stain with a paper towel, then soak stained items for 15 mins in 1 quart lukewarm water, teaspoon liquid dish soap and 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Wash as normal with an enzyme-based liquid laundry detergent.

Mix one teaspoon of liquid hand dish washing detergent in two cups of cold water. Dip a white cloth or the brush in this solution and work from the outside edge of the stain toward the center to prevent spreading. Blot or lightly scrub the stain and blot with a dry paper towel to absorb the moisture.
Remove dust with a lint-free cloth or tack rag. With a foam or bristle brush, apply a thin uniform coat of Wiping Stain. Using a soft, dry bristle brush, make light, even strokes in the direction of the grain while allowing the grain pattern beneath the surface to show through.
If you didnt, the stain may still be tacky. You should not apply your clear topcoat until the stain is no longer tacky and has been allowed to dry at least as long as the label recommends.
