today im going to show you how you can clean a disk and delete everything on it using the clean all command begin with right clicking on your windows icon and select command prompt admin you can also search up command prompt right click on it and select run as administrator now you will write in disk part now when disk part is launched you will write in list disk and now you can see we have two different disks here select the right disk that you will want to wipe make sure this is really the disk you want wipe i know of course that my system disc is the two terabyte ssd and the disc i want to wipe is this 300 gigabit or sorry 320 gigabytes is the one so i will write in select disk one now that we have selected the correct disk we will write in clean all and select enter now the disk will be completely wiped and all partitions will be deleted on this disk so just wait for this process to finish and then we can launch disk management all right and now you can see it is successful and i

Why do you need to wipe free space? Residual data, also known as Data Remanence, continues to exist after common activities, such as delete a file or move a file. The Wipe Free Space task is used to completely remove all traces of unwanted files beyond forensic recovery.
One of the easiest ways to clean up files you no longer need is by using Disk Cleanup. Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, select Disk Cleanup. If prompted, select the drive that you want to clean up, and then select OK.
The select Control Panel System and Security Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. In the left pane, under Storage, select Disk Management. Right-click the volume that you want to format, and then select Format.
Boot the drive and choose option 1, Default Settings. Once booted head to Start (bottom-left) System Tools Erase Disk. Choose the Internal:Secure Erase command writes zeroes to entire data area option, then confirm the drive you want to erase on the next screen.
The reason: When you delete a file or format a drive, the data does not get destroyed. It simply gets marked as Free space that can be overwritten by new data, such as a new program or a photo you store on your PC. Until this happens, however, the data remains intact.
The Wipe Free Space task is used to completely remove all traces of unwanted files beyond forensic recovery. To clean free space on a hard drive, BCWipe creates temporary files with a wiping pattern inside. These temporary files overwrite old data written to the disk.
Erasing Free Space on Hard Drives in Mac OS X Launch Disk Utility, found within /Applications/Utilities/ or through Launchpad. Connect the hard drive if its an external disk, and then select the hard drive from the left side menu. Choose the Erase tab, then choose the Erase Free Space option.
