If you turn on Layout Selection Pane, it shows a list of all the shape objects. If you just need them to disappear, you can hide all in one click. Otherwise, you still have to delete them one by one, but its a bit faster from the list than by scrolling.
When removing shape protection in Visio, follow these steps: Select the desired shape for modification. Access the Format tab in the toolbar. Choose the Protection option. Uncheck the Lock option to remove protection. Repeat these steps for all desired shapes.
