Hi, Bill here with another Clean Care, Pro Tip. Black heel marks may be a sign of two different conditions. The first, is that the floor may be worn and have microscopic scratches. As a shoe makes contact, some of the rubber fills those scratches and leaves a mark. Spray buffing or burnishing will help restore the surface to an even, scuff resistant state. In some cases however, this might not be enough and the floor may need to be scrubbed and refinished. The second is that the floor finish hasnamp;#39;t had enough time to cure, and has not hardened, making it susceptible to marking. Burnishing the finish with a low pad pressure setting after 24 hours of drying, will help speed up the process and make the floor more resistant to scuffing.
