considering how handy googles office suite is you may find it getting a little cluttered if you use it often whether youre starting fresh or making space for more files if youre doing some spring cleaning and want to clear out all your google documents heres what you need to do if you dont have a lot of documents you can delete them all from google docs once youre logged into the right account put your recent documents in list view by clicking on the icon at the top right for your convenience mouse over a document then click on the triple dotted icon to its right select remove and google docs will throw up a warning click on move to trash and your document will disappear from the list rinse and repeat for the few documents you have if you want to manage multiple files at once youll need to manage them from google drive click on the multi-dotted icon next to your profile icon on any google website and select drive from the list once youre logged into the account put your files

See all changes to a file or revert to a previous version In Google Drive, open your file. From Docs, Sheets, or Slides, select File Version history. See version history. Click a timestamp to see a previous version of the file. (Optional) To revert, name, or copy a previous version, click:
In the Version History dialog, hover next to the version you want, and to get a list of options, on the right side, select the down arrow. Select Delete. To delete the version, select OK.
Open the file you want to view. Click File Info Version history. Select a version to open it in a separate window. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
To select multiple adjacent files in the File Explorer window, click the first file to select it. Then press and hold down the Shift key on your keyboard. Then click the last file to select all the files including and between the first and last files you clicked. You can then release the Shift key.
To delete multiple files and/or folders: Select the items youd like to delete by pressing and holding the Shift or Command key and clicking next to each file/folder name. When you have selected all items, scroll to the top of the file display and in the upper-right click the trash icon.
To pick a file, you may click it once and then hit the Delete button at the top. You may also remove multiple files simultaneously. Click the first file and click on other files to select them while holding down the Ctrl or Command key. Click the Remove button to remove all your selected files.
Selecting multiple text sections is extremely simple: select the first bit of text however you would normally, then press either the Command (⌘) or Control key, depending on whether youre using a Mac or Windows machine. Keep holding it down, and select the other bits of text you want.
If you dont see Activity dashboard or the privacy settings: If the file isnt owned by a Google Account through work or school, no one can see the view history.
