letamp;#39;s click Ami s the Ami go to action deregister Ami so if you deregister Ami uh you will not be able to launch this instance it will not be available in the Ami catalog and also the snapshots that are created for this Ami will not be deleted automatically so youamp;#39;ll continue getting built for that storage cost so if you do not need this snapshot then is better to clean up so to delete you can go to EBS snapshot then select the snapshot go to action delete Snapshot in case you are wondering why do we need to delete it separately letamp;#39;s go to this picture so when we create Ami from ec2 instance it create snapshot of ABS volumes and when we deregister that Ami it does not delete that snapshot that were created during Ami creation process so itamp;#39;ll continue getting build for the storage cost for these snapshots itamp;#39;s better to delete the snapshot to avoid failing
