Iamp;#39;m trying to use the type tool in Photoshop but when I enter some text the characters are all stretched what is happening dude to fix this issue activate the text layer in the layers panel then go to window character to open the character panel find the scaling values and make sure both the vertical and the horizontal scale are set to 100 percent now the characters should have the correct scale if not then activate the type tool go to the options bar right click on the T icon and choose the reset tool duh
